Governor Pramono`s Position in C40 Cities Strengthens Jakarta's Climate Program"This shows that the consistency of the administration of financial reports in the Jakarta Government has been well maintained over time," said Pramono, Friday (6/5).
He stated that the Jakarta Provincial Government consistently follows up on various recommendations issued by the Indonesian Audit Board and reports them, exceeding the national reporting target. He believes this demonstrates the Jakarta Provincial Government's commitment to resolving Jakarta's issues.
"As of now we are above 87 percent, the national target is above 77 or 78 percent," he added.
To improve accountability, the Jakarta Provincial Government has begun a new tradition of reporting the region's financial condition to the public before the BPK reports. Pramono also committed to completing the BPK's recommendations within 60 days.
"Because WTP for the Jakarta Government is not only an administrative issue, but it reflects and describes how the financial system in the Jakarta Government is prepared, reported, and so on," he explained.
Pramono also emphasized the Jakarta Provincial Government's commitment to resolving real-world issues. He cited the long operational delays of the Senen pedestrian bridge after repairs were completed.
"I see more issues on the ground, such as the pedestrian bridge in Senen. Why hasn't this pedestrian bridge been put into operation so soon after it was repaired? Communication is always a problem in government," he admitted.
