If I was hit by a car, who is responsible?

A number of parcel sellers once again occupy the sidewalk along Jl Cikini, Menteng, Central Jakarta. As a result, the passerby has difficulties to traverse the sidewalk.

Relaying on Beritajakarta.com's observations, sidewalk as wide as two meters is occupied by parcel seller. Not only sidewalk, they also open stall on a green belt park around Jl Cikini.

Rizky (20), a college student admitted he strongly objected to the parcel seller on the sidewalk. Its existence has disturbed the passerby when they try to pass on the sidewalk.

"If I was hit by a car, who is responsible?," he complained, when being interviewed in the location.

He hoped the seller could be controlled soon. They have violated the Bylaw No. 8/2007 on Public Order.

"They should be controlled, because they are depriving others," he asserted.
