Agus added that the officers also controlled four illegal parking attendants.
Agus stated that his team will continue to enforce illegal parking regulations in West Jakarta. He confirmed that officers will conduct regular mobile monitoring to ensure that no other locations are being used as illegal parking.
Head of West Jakarta Satpol PP, Herry Purnama said legally, illegal parking activities violate Regional Regulation No. 8 of 2007 about public order. Therefore, his party confirmed its readiness to support and ensure the success of the enforcement efforts.
"Illegal parking on the sidewalk takes away the rights and disturbs the comfort of pedestrians, as well as disrupts traffic," he said.
