The prohibition is stated due to many street vendors selling at the area. As the result, the area looks dirty and slum.

“Previously, I let you selling there. But look the condition at night. Vehicles are parked recklessly,” he said, Monday (6/13).

The mushrooming street vendors around the park has disturbed the local residents. Moreover, the area is a ring 1.

“There are commander and vice president at the area. Their number is too much now,” he added.

Basuki gives the case to Central Jakarta Mayor, Mangara Pardede. Not only street vendors, illegal parking must be also controlled.
