Zombie and Reog Ponorogo Coloring May Day in front of State Palace

Various ways are shown by the labors in conveying their demands in the commemoration of Labor Day or May Day staged in front of the State Palace, Central Jakarta, Thursday (5/1). Not just speeches, they also perform Reog Ponorogo traditional art and dress like zombies, which successfully attracts the attention of passing residents who then capture it with their cell phone cameras.

Before visiting the State Palace, those thousands of labors, who are members of various labor organizations, gathered at HI Roundabout before long marched on Jalan MH Thamrin and passed the National Monument.

“ We deploy 2,950 policemen, three barracuda cars, and three water cannon vehicles . The labors are urged to maintain order and not do anarchy, so there would be no disturbing manner,” stated Central Jakarta Metro Resort Police Operational Division Chief AKBP Apollo Sinambela.
