During the summit, Pramono holds a dual mandate: representing Jakarta as the nation’s capital and fulfilling his role as the Vice Chair of C40 Cities for the East Asia, Southeast Asia, and Oceania regions.
For Jakarta, the World Cities Summit 2026 serves as a strategic platform to identify innovative solutions for urban challenges, with the ultimate goal of transforming the city into a more livable, environmentally sustainable, and competitive metropolis.

He emphasized that Jakarta is highly receptive to investment, particularly in green financing and public-private partnerships.
"Jakarta is open to green financing investments and public-private collaborations to support urban cooling initiatives. Nevertheless, these endeavors require robust support from the global financial system," he stated in the Jakarta government's press release, Monday (6/15).
To commence his visit to Singapore, Pramono is set to attend the C40 Mayoral Convening, a high-level assembly of city leaders from across the globe.
Since his appointment as Vice Chair of C40 Cities for the East Asia, Southeast Asia, and Oceania regions in April 2026, this summit marks Governor Pramono’s inaugural meeting in that capacity alongside other global urban leaders.
