Area Development on Jalan Kerinci Fully Completed

The area development on Jalan Kerinci, RT 10/02, Gunung Urban Village, Kebayoran Baru District, South Jakarta has been completed.

Head Section of Economy and Development of Gunung Urban Village, Muhammad Zulfikar said previously, the area was frequently used as a parking lot, particularly by online motorcycle taxi drivers. This made it appear untidy and detracted from the area's aesthetics.

"We took the initiative to tidy up the area again so that it is in accordance with its function and designation," he said, Thursday (6/18).

Zulfikar explained that the arrangement was carried out in an area of approximately 90 square meters, involving six Public Infrastructure and Facilities Management (PPSU) officers since April 2026.

The concept implemented is the construction of a mini park surrounding the Kebayoran Baru District Office. The park is expected to create a greener, more comfortable, and more representative atmosphere for visitors and employees working in the district office area.

"We also urge residents to always maintain environmental cleanliness and the sustainability of existing plants," he appealed.

Meanwhile, one of the local residents, Leo Detri appreciated the development which he believes is able to improve the beauty of the environment around the district office.

"The layout is very neat. The area looks greener and more attractive because it's not just a regular park, but also features written elements that add to its appeal," he admitted.
