Head of Palmeriam Urban Village, Agung Budi Santoso said distribution of aid was carried out in stages due to limited capacity at the urban village office yard.

Food Aid Distributed in Tengah Urban VillageAgung explained that the beneficiaries came from 10 neighborhood units (RW) in the Palmeriam Urban Village. The urban village rank deployed 20 Public Infrastructure and Facilities Management (PPSU) officers and set up six service desks to expedite the distribution process.
"All aid recipients are registered in the Indonesian Ministry of Social Affairs database. They include participants in the Family Hope Program (PKH), recipients of Non-Cash Food Assistance (BPNT), and families with toddlers or children at risk of stunting," he explained.
Each beneficiary family received assistance in the form of 20 kilograms of rice packed in two sacks of 10 kilograms each, as well as four liters of cooking oil.
Meanwhile, one of the beneficiaries of food aid, Sumiyati (47), said she was grateful for the aid she received because it really helped meet household needs, especially amidst the prices of a number of basic commodities which are still quite high.
"I received assistance in the form of rice and cooking oil. This assistance is very helpful for my family's needs. Thank you to the government for their concern for the residents," she admitted.
