A total of 2,294 families in Kayu Manis Urban Village, Matraman District, East Jakarta, received food assistance. This assistance is expected to help meet the basic needs of the community, particularly vulnerable groups.

Head of Kayu Manis Urban Village, Endri Budiarta said socialization of food aid collection has been conducted through neighborhood association (RT) and community unit (RW) administrators. Distribution of aid began on June 10, 2026. However, this morning, approximately 80 families had not yet received their aid.
"We hope that residents who are registered as beneficiaries will immediately come to the urban village office to collect the food aid that has been prepared," he said, Friday (6/19).

"The recipients of aid are participants in the Family Hope Program (PKH), recipients of Non-Cash Food Assistance (BPNT), and families with toddlers or children at risk of stunting," he added.
Meanwhile, one of the beneficiaries, Subur (41) admitted that he was grateful for the assistance provided because it really helped ease the burden of household expenses amidst the rising prices of basic necessities.
"This rice and cooking oil really helps to meet our family's daily needs," he admitted.
