21 Parking Spots to Make Your Jakarta 499th Anniversary Experience Seamless

The Jakarta Transportation Agency (Dishub) has designated several parking zones to support the peak celebration of Jakarta’s 499th Anniversary. Themed ‘Towards 5 Centuries of Jakarta,’ the event will take place in the Bundaran HI area, Central Jakarta, this Saturday (6/27), from 3 PM to 10 PM.

We encourage everyone to use the designated official parking spots

Jakarta Transportation Agency Head, Budi Awaluddin stated that 21 parking zones have been designated around the venue to ensure convenience for attendees and maintain a smooth traffic flow throughout the festivities.

"Parking hubs are now available for the Main Event of Jakarta’s 499th Anniversary. We kindly ask the public to keep the roads clear and use the provided parking spots instead,” he expressed, Friday (6/26).

He stated that the facilities can hold 12,295 cars, 8,186 motorcycles, and 97 buses—a capacity designed to meet the high demand of visitors anticipated to flock to the Bundaran HI area.

Keeping the roadsides clear will ensure that public movement, emergency vehicles, and public transport continue to run smoothly around the venue.

"We encourage everyone to use the designated official parking spots to help keep the traffic orderly and moving," he added.
