A total of 10 residents of Tanah Tinggi Urban Village, consisting of women, participated in fashion design training held by the Central Jakarta Regional Job Training Center (PPKD), from June 12 to July 20.

Central Jakarta PPKD's Fashion Design Instructor, Riris Simbolon said, in this training, participants were given material on introducing tools, measuring, making patterns and how to place them on the material, cutting and sewing clothes and skirts.

He hopes that after participating in the training, participants will have skills that can be used as provisions for entrepreneurship.
"The potential for entrepreneurship as a tailor to improve family welfare is very large, as long as participants are diligent in studying and are resilient in starting a sewing business," he added.
Nuri (46), one of the participants, admitted wants to continue honing her sewing skills and wants to start a sewing business at home after this training.
"Previously, I only sewed pillowcases, but after almost two weeks of this training, I can already make clothes. Thank God, it's been very helpful," she admitted.
