Retaining Wall of Pasar Nangka Channel in C. Jakarta Undergoes Repair"This repair follows a community suggestion made through the JAKI app. Previously, part of the retaining wall had collapsed due to erosion by the heavy flow of water during the rainy season," he said, Thursday (7/2).
Rezky explained that the repaired retaining wall is approximately 33 meters long, three meters high, and one meter wide.
"The work involved nine Blue Troop personnel with manual work equipment support," he added.
According to him, currently the work has entered the final completion stage so that the channel can function optimally again.
He hopes that the repair of the retaining wall will make the water flow in the Warung Jengkol connecting channel more optimal in preventing flooding and the surrounding environmental conditions will become more organized.
Meanwhile, one of the local residents, Randi Wijaya (40) admitted the repair has made the channel's condition neater, sturdier, and provides a sense of security for residents carrying out activities around the location.
"We feel safer because we're not worried about further landslides that could endanger residents and road users. Thank you to the officers who worked quickly," he admitted.
