Two residents of Cengkareng Sub-district, West Jakarta, received land certificates after upgrading their land rights through the West Jakarta Mobile Land Services Consultation program, known as Konseling Peta Jakbar, a collaborative initiative between the National Land Agency (BPN) and the West Jakarta Administration.
Provide residents with easier access to land administration services
West Jakarta Mayor Iin Mutmainah praised the Konseling Peta Jakbar program for making land administration services more accessible to residents.
West Jakarta BPN Holds Mobile Land Service in Kembangan"I'm grateful to have such a solid team and to work closely with BPN. West Jakarta greatly benefits from strong support and partnerships so everything on the ground can run smoothly," she said on Monday (7/6).
According to Iin, many people still perceive land administration as complicated. However, she said Konseling Peta Jakbar has shown that the process of upgrading land rights and obtaining a certificate can be completed within one month.
She expressed hope that the program, which has been running since April and will be rolled out across all eight sub-districts in West Jakarta, will continue to provide residents with easier access to land administration services, as demonstrated in Cengkareng Sub-district.
"I hope this program will be widely publicized. It is proof that the government is truly present in serving the community," she asserted.
West Jakarta BPN Head Shinta Purwitasari explained that Konseling Peta Jakbar offers more than land rights upgrade services. It also provides consultations on various land-related issues and assistance with replacing damaged land certificates.
"We have successfully implemented this program in three sub-districts. God willing, we will move on to Grogol Petamburan Sub-district this month," she said.
Meanwhile, Dickie, a resident of RW 02 in Cengkareng Barat Urban Village, said he chose to use the Konseling Peta Jakbar program because it costs less than hiring a notary.
He added that the process was straightforward, simple, and fast.
"It only cost Rp50,000. I'm very grateful for this mobile service because it has been very helpful," he said.
