Prime Area Arrangement on Jalan Masjid Completed

The development of a prime area on Jalan Masjid, RT 10/02, Cibubur Urban Village, Ciracas District, East Jakarta, has been completed. The previously neglected and rundown land has been transformed into a green, tidy, and more comfortable thematic park for residents.

Head of Cibubur Urban Village, Rony Abdullah said the development took place on an area of ​​approximately 240 square meters, measuring approximately 80 meters long and three meters wide. Prior to the development, the site was a vacant lot frequently used as a dumping ground for illegal garbage and as a base for street vendors, creating a chaotic atmosphere.

"We deployed 10 PPSU officers to rearrange and turn this area into a green park," he said, Tuesday (7/7).

He explained that the work began in early April 2026 and was completed by the end of June. In addition to beautifying the area, the park was also decorated with various ornamental plants to create a more beautiful atmosphere.

"I invite the community to work together to maintain cleanliness and care for the facilities that have been built so that they remain beautiful and comfortable," he appealed.

Meanwhile, the Head of the Economic and Development Section of Cibubur Urban Village, Heru Kristianto, added that the arrangement carries the theme "Transformation of Old Jakarta into a Global City".

"The park is equipped with various miniature transportation icons and landmarks of Jakarta, such as Monas, Transjakarta buses, JakLingko, bajaj, oplet or bemo, thus presenting an educational nuance as well as being an attraction for the public," he explained.

The area appears greener with around 2,000 polybags of ornamental plants of various types, such as tabebuya, yellow philo, green philo, snake plant, aglonema, spider plant and even lily.

"A number of tanjung trees were also planted as shade trees," he stated.
