"The implementation is held for two days, providing 3,299 job vacancies from 37 companies," he said, Tuesday (7/7).

Syaripudin explained that this year's Career Fest features innovation through an online registration system.

"Even though the main activity takes place offline, the public can access job vacancy information via the karirjakarta.go.id website starting a week before the event takes place," he explained.

According to him, the website will remain open for 10 days after the event. Job seekers can submit applications, view available vacancies, and learn about the required requirements.

"Career Fest also provides extensive opportunities for people with disabilities. This aligns with the regulations regarding the disability workforce quota, which is two percent in government agencies or regionally-owned enterprises (BUMD) and one percent in private companies," he added.

Meanwhile, South Jakarta Vice Mayor, Ali Murthadho appreciated the implementation of this activity because it could help overcome unemployment.

Ali also expressed his appreciation to the 10 fostered entrepreneurs (Jakpreneurs) who participate in the bazaar. This has helped increase public awareness of their products.

"Hopefully this activity will be the best opportunity for job seekers and employers to meet directly," he said.

Ali added that the South Jakarta City Government through the Regional Job Training Center (PPKD) continues to present various training programs that follow technological developments, including in the field of digitalization, to improve workforce competency.

"The government also continues to encourage people to develop an entrepreneurial spirit so that they can create jobs independently," he stated.
