He highlighted that city-level job fairs are scheduled to be held twice this year.
"The venue was chosen to bring employment services closer to residents so job seekers in North Jakarta do not need to travel long distances," he noted, Tuesday (5/19).
According to Syaripudin, this year's Job Fair adopts a hybrid format combining online and offline services.
Through the Karir Jakarta website, applicants have been able to access company information, vacancy listings, and qualification requirements since May 13.

North Jakarta Mayor Hendra Hidayat expressed appreciation to Nakertransgi for organizing the event. According to him, the job fair plays an important role in helping reduce unemployment in North Jakarta.
"Thousands of vacancies are available. We hope all available positions can be filled by residents currently seeking employment," he said.
He added that the Job Fair at GRJU will run for two days and is scheduled to conclude on Thursday (5/20). In addition to the job fair, the event also features an MSME bazaar and employment talk shows.
"We hope applicants attending the event have qualifications that match company needs so there will be no gap between industry demand and workforce capabilities," he added.

"Of that number, 1,224 people have checked in at the venue, while 1,260 applications have been submitted to participating companies," she said.

"This event is very helpful, and there are plenty of job opportunities available. I hope I can directly attend interviews today and get hired," she expressed.
