Head of Kebon Jeruk District, Agus Mulyadi said the joint officers arrived at the site on Tuesday (July 7) morning. However, due to the presence of high-voltage power lines, they were forced to postpone repair work.

"We have coordinated with PLN, the utility company. Therefore, the cable must be secured first to prevent any harm," he said.

While PLN was observing and waiting for further work, a line crossing was installed in the surrounding area and traffic flow engineering was carried out.

After the observation and securing process of the electrical cable utilities was completed, Agus emphasized that the SDA ranks would repair the channel area that had collapsed due to the damaged cover.

Agus admitted he couldn't yet predict how long the work would take. He hoped the repairs would be completed quickly and that residents in the area could return to normal activities.

"We will strive to complete repairs immediately, including securing the area to prevent a disaster," he admitted.

Head of West Jakarta Public Works Sub-agency, Taufik Hendayana assured that the collapsed section of the road would be repaired immediately. However, due to high-voltage utilities, the SDA was unable to quickly repair the channel.

"SDA will install culvert boxes to ensure stronger and faster repairs. After that, we will finish the road layer," he stated.
