Addressing Collapsed Road in Pulo Gadung is a Priority, Pramono Says

The Jakarta Governor, Pramono Anung, confirmed that handling the collapsed road in the Pulo Gadung area, East Jakarta, is one of the priorities that will be immediately handled by the Jakarta Provincial Government.

"This is one of the priorities that the Jakarta Government will immediately address," said Pramono, Wednesday (7/8).

The Jakarta Water Resources Agency and the Jakarta Public Works Agency are handling the collapsed road. Pramono stated that he has instructed both agencies to complete the repairs immediately.

"So, the road in Pulo Gadung that's now going viral was previously handled by the Water Resources Agency. Now, I'm asking the Water Resources and Public Work Agencies to address it immediately," he added.

Currently, he continued, officers have installed gabions to strengthen and protect the road structure to avoid further collapse.

"The gabion installation has start now to avoid further collapse," he stated.
