This mobile animal clinic service is the first of its kind initiated by a local government in Indonesia.
Santa Market Leads Jakarta’s Animal-Friendly Shift"Today, and this is probably the first time in the Jakarta Regional Government, there is a mobile veterinary clinic car," said Pramono.
This mobile animal clinic is equipped with professional medical staff, consisting of one veterinarian and one paramedic.
Some of the services provided include animal consultations and examinations, vaccinations, animal treatment, laboratory examinations, and sterilization and minor surgery.
"So with this service, it is hoped that the public can obtain better animal health services for all animals owned by the public," he added.
Pramono said that this mobile veterinary clinic service will operate in five administrative areas of Jakarta.
This mobile veterinary clinic service is an important asset for Jakarta to maintain its rabies-free status, while simultaneously transforming into a global city, an economic center, and the nation's capital.
Therefore, Pramono also invited the entire community to utilize this service and support Jakarta as an animal-friendly and rabies-free city.
"We want Jakarta to be an animal-friendly city, whatever the animal," stated Pramono.
