According to Eka, this annual routine activity is a form of collaboration between residents to strengthen ties, advance MSMEs and preserve Betawi culture.

"The East Jakarta City Government is committed to continuing to support the preservation of local culture, the development of the creative economy and the empowerment of MSMEs as part of efforts to improve community welfare," Eka said, Sunday (7/12).

He hopes the Lubang Buaya Festival to become one of East Jakarta's attractions.

Head of Lubang Buaya Urban Village, Latiful Syamsi said this festival was held to commemorate the 499th anniversary of Jakarta and the 5th century of the city, while preserving local arts and culture, supporting MSMEs, strengthening community togetherness, and providing a creative space for the younger generation.
