Pramono will Take Firm Action Against Individuals Involved in Extortion

Jakarta Governor, Pramono Anung confirmed that he will take firm action against illegal levies carried out by his staff.

He made this statement in response to reports of extortion involving officers from the Public Order Agency (Satpol PP) in North Jakarta. Pramono also stated that he would conduct an in-depth investigation to thoroughly investigate this reprehensible act.

"If there is a report of extortion, we will investigate it further," he said, Monday (7/13).

If the individual is proven to have committed extortion, Pramono assured that the relevant institutions will take firm action. These sanctions will be imposed on all staff found guilty without discrimination.

"And if it is true that a Satpol PP did this, we will take the strongest possible action," Pramono affirmed.

Previously reported, a member of the Public Order Agency (Satpol PP) was suspected of carrying out illegal levies at a study house in the Cilincing area, North Jakarta.
