27 female Government Public Relations (GPR) representatives, media practitioners, and journalists from Indonesia, Laos, and Myanmar participated in the 'Seminar for Female Multimedia Journalists from ASEAN Countries' in China, held from July 8 to 21, 2026.

Among the participants were seven public relations officers representing Indonesia's key institutions, including Secretariat General of DPD, Ministry of State Secretariat, Ministry of Law, Ministry of PANRB, Ministry of Migrant Workers Protection, National Institute of Public Administration (LAN), and Jakarta government.

The program also took a deep dive into the future of media, with participants visiting companies leading the way in AI-driven video content.
"Beyond showcasing high-tech advancements, the organizers also immersed us in traditional Chinese culture through calligraphy workshops and visits to the historic districts of Hangzhou and Nanning," she added.
Echoing those sentiments, Intan Fitria Yuliani from the DPD Secretariat General noted that the program is a vital step toward mastering the fast-moving digital world.
"The transformation of the digital media ecosystem is happening rapidly. This training is designed to sharpen our skills, ensuring that female journalists and PR professionals are not just keeping up, but are fully equipped to thrive in this new era," she stated.
