The aid included five-kilogram packages of rice, instant noodles, two-liter packages of cooking oil, one box or bag of sweet soy sauce, and goodie bags. Two packs of biscuits and two cans of sardines were also distributed.
Head of Kayu Putih Urban Village, Tuti Sugihastuti admitted this assistance is very useful for residents who are facing disaster.
"Local residents also provided cash assistance in the amount of Rp 43.7 million. The assistance was immediately given to the victim's family," she admitted.
