30 Participants Attend 3D Modeling Artist Training and Certification

The Jakarta Tourism and Creative Economy Agency (Disparekraf) through the Tourism and Creative Economy Professional Training Center (P4EK) held a 2026 3D Modeling Artist Scheme Training and Certification for Creative Economy Professional Workers.

The training activity, which is attended by 30 selected participants, took place from July 31 to August 2, 2026, followed by the BNSP Competency Test on August 5, 2026, at Sparks Life Jakarta, West Jakarta.

Head of Jakarta Tourism and Creative Economy Agency, Andhika Permata said the rapid digital transformation in the animation, games, film, advertising, and architectural visualization subsectors demands an adaptive and competent creative workforce. He stated that 3D Modeling Artist is now a highly strategic competency in producing three-dimensional visual works of high economic value.

"The Jakarta Provincial Government wants to ensure that our creative economy human resources are not only technically proficient, but also have strong competitiveness at the national and international levels," he said, Monday (8/3).

Head of the Jakarta Tourism and Creative Economy Professional Training Center (P4EK), Endrati Fariani, explained that this activity is held in collaboration with the Indonesian Animation Industry Association (AINAKI) and the Indonesian Creative Animation LSP.

The training program is designed using a curriculum aligned with the Indonesian National Work Competency Standards (SKKNI) for animation. The material covers hard surface and organic modeling techniques, UV mesh, texturing, lighting, shading, rendering, skinning, and the perspective of Jakarta as an Inclusive, Disability-Friendly City.

All participants will receive theoretical materials, practical training, and a final evaluation. Ultimately, they will take the BNSP Competency Test on August 5, 2026, to receive formal recognition of their competency.

"This program, funded through the Jakarta Provincial Budget for the 2026 Fiscal Year, is expected to produce work-ready talents who are ready to support the development of digital content, visualization of tourist destinations, and interactive multimedia promotions in Jakarta," she explained.
