Jakarta Officially Launches Call Center 1500813 as One-Stop Transportation Solution

Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung officially launched Call Center 1500813 with the tagline "One Number for Jakarta Transportation Solutions" at the Bundaran HI area in Menteng, Central Jakarta, Sunday (8/9).

One Number for Jakarta Transportation Solutions, is to provide five types of services

"The function and benefit of call center 1500813, which carries the slogan One Number for Jakarta Transportation Solutions, is to provide five types of services," Pramono said.

He explained that the five services include free vehicle towing, emergency assistance, and free funeral vehicle escorts. Additionally, the center handles complaints regarding traffic infrastructure and facilities, as well as incident management on the ground.

He further noted that the service is supported by 52 officers operating 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

"The response time from the call center until officers arrive at the scene is targeted to be within 15 minutes," he explained.

He also ensured that the operations of the Transportation Agency's Area Traffic Control System (ATCS) unit, located on the 16th floor of the Technical Agency Building, remained unaffected by the fire that occurred in the building.

Pram went on to say that the Transportation Agency maintains a backup call center on Jalan MT Haryono. Hence, he is confident that traffic management services, VVIP arrangements, and the 1500813 call center will function without interruption and operate normally.

During the same event, a special Transjakarta route for Car Free Day (CFD), connecting Ancol to Bundaran Senayan, was also launched.

"Today, we also launched a TransJakarta route from Bundaran Senayan to Ancol. The fare for today is just Rp 1, but once it resumes normal operations, the standard fare of Rp 3,500 will apply," he continued.

Further, the "Pelopor Keselamatan Lalu Lintas" program, abbreviated as "Pelopor Kita Jakarta," was officially inaugurated.

Jakarta Transportation Agency Head, Budi Awaludin, noted that they have set up four channels to ensure there are no waiting times for callers.

"The service to Ancol will be free since the Transjakarta buses go directly into the complex without ticket checks. This means entry is free, and people can use these buses to move around anywhere inside Ancol," he added.
