18 fire engines and 90 personnel from the West Jakarta Fire and Rescue Sub-agency (Gulkarmat) successfully put out a fire that hit a kiosk on Jalan Prof. Dr. Latumeten, Angke, Tambora, Monday (8/10) morning.

Tambora Gulkarmat Operational Unit Head, Joko Susilo said that his personnel received a report from residents at approximately 7:54 AM. Seven fire engines and 35 personnel were immediately dispatched to the scene for the primary response.
"The first team arrived on-site five minutes after the report and immediately began firefighting efforts," he expressed.
Post-Fire Update: Rano Karno Ensures Public Services Remain OperationalTo expedite the process and prevent the fire from spreading, he deployed an additional 11 units and 55 personnel.
"After approximately 20 minutes of handling, the fire was successfully brought under control," he explained.
This quick action received appreciation from Tambora Sub-district Head, Pangestu Aji.
"The fire only burned one food stall. It is suspected that an electrical short circuit caused the blaze," he closed.
