A joint task force comprising the Transportation Sub-agency, Satpol PP, army, and police took decisive action against 108 motorcycles found in violation of parking regulations near the City Park Apartment area in East Cengkareng, West Jakarta.

Operations Head for the West Jakarta Transportation Agency, Agus Prasetyo stated that the enforcement operation follows direct orders from the Jakarta Governor and the Transportation Agency Head to tackle rampant illegal parking issues across the city.
"We're taking firm steps to restore road functionality, alleviate traffic congestion, and eradicate illegal levies," he expressed, Thursday (8/13).

Transportation Implementation Unit Head for Cengkareng Sub-district, Danu Irawadi added that the operation spanned several key roads around the City Park Apartments, including Jalan Malibu Raya, City Resort, and Jalan Kapuk Cengkareng.
"The crackdown specifically targets vehicles parked on road shoulders and sidewalks," he noted.
Out of the 108 motorcycles penalized, 100 were subjected to tire valve removal sanctions. The remaining eight were seized and towed to the West Jakarta Transportation Sub-agency office for further legal processing.
"We'll intensify our surveillance to ensure that illegal parking is completely eradicated. This effort will not be limited to this area; we are targeting all high-violation zones across Cengkareng," he asserted.
