According to him, the Cultural Carnival serves as a moment to strengthen unity and togetherness among residents amidst Jakarta's cultural diversity.

"The Cultural Carnival serves as a unifying event that fosters harmony," he said, Monday (8/17).

Syafrin explained that the cultural diversity showcased in the carnival helps strengthen public understanding of national values and the spirit of Bhinneka Tunggal Ika (Unity in Diversity).

Differences in culture, background, and character among the people actually serve as a strength for building a harmonious community life.

"Despite our differences, we remain united. Hopefully, this event will not only be a lively affair but also strengthen our bonds and foster a greater sense of belonging within the community," he explained.

Syafrin reminded participants to maintain cleanliness throughout the event and to dispose of waste according to type, as part of efforts to support the movement for waste sorting at the source.

"Sort your waste and dispose of it according to the category, whether organic, non-organic, residual, or hazardous (B3), to support the movement for waste sorting," he added.

"This proves that our young people possess tremendous energy, are full of ideas, and are capable of executing them exceptionally well," he stated.

Meanwhile, Chairman of the Cipete Utara Urban Village Youth Organization, Abdul Majid Nurdin explained a number of activities were also held, including coloring and dance competitions. The carnival parade involved 8,200 participants from eight Community Units in the Cipete Utara Urban Village.
