"The Cultural Carnival serves as a unifying event that fosters harmony," he said, Monday (8/17).

Syafrin explained that the cultural diversity showcased in the carnival helps strengthen public understanding of national values and the spirit of Bhinneka Tunggal Ika (Unity in Diversity).

Differences in culture, background, and character among the people actually serve as a strength for building a harmonious community life.

"Despite our differences, we remain united. Hopefully, this event will not only be a lively affair but also strengthen our bonds and foster a greater sense of belonging within the community," he explained.

Syafrin reminded participants to maintain cleanliness throughout the event and to dispose of waste according to type, as part of efforts to support the movement for waste sorting at the source.

"Sort your waste and dispose of it according to the category, whether organic, non-organic, residual, or hazardous (B3), to support the movement for waste sorting," he added.
