Pramono Pushes for Partnership Between New Toto Tentrem and Tarakan Hospitals

Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung officially inaugurated the operation of Toto Tentrem Hospital in Tebet, South Jakarta, Monday (8/24).

Pramono expressed his appreciation for the hospital, which offers specialized biotechnology services and remains accessible to the general public.

"Today, the Jakarta government gains an extraordinary new facility. This is an international-standard hospital, specifically focusing on the groundbreaking field of stem cells," he stated.

He voiced his full support for the hospital’s operations and encouraged a strategic partnership with RSUD Tarakan Jakarta. Through this collaboration, he aims for the Jakarta government to manage hospitals equipped with advanced stem cell technology.

"I am determined to see Tarakan Hospital undergo similar development. Of the 31 hospitals owned by the Jakarta government, I want to ensure that we have facilities specializing in the advancement of stem cell research and therapy," he explained.

Jakarta currently hosts 196 hospitals, 31 of which are managed by the Jakarta government. To further elevate the city's healthcare services, the city is set to construct two international-standard hospitals at the former Sumber Waras site and in the Cakung area.

He hoped that Toto Tentrem Hospital will play a vital role in providing high-quality healthcare for the public.

Toto Tentrem Luwih Asih Hospital Founder, Purwati explained that the facility operates as a general hospital with specialized excellence in stem cell therapy, regenerative medicine, wellness, and surgery.

She emphasized that the hospital aims to be more than just a healthcare provider; it is also envisioned as a center for public health education.

"We hope that by bringing advanced technology to Toto Tentrem Hospital, we can provide meaningful benefits to the wider community—focusing not only on curative treatments but also on preventive care," she explained.

The hospital has 50 patient beds, five ICU beds, and is supported by a team of 70 medical specialists.
