The agency’s strategic blueprint divides the affected areas into three critical sectors:
• Zone 1: Concentrated around the DPR/MPR (Parliamentary) complex in Senayan.
• Zone 2: Encompassing the vital arterial corridors connecting Senayan, Gatot Subroto, and Sudirman.
• Zone 3: Covering the broader parliamentary perimeter and the Presidential Palace vicinity.
The following measures will be implemented across four key operational sectors:
1. Zone 1 – Parliamentary Complex (DPR/MPR Senayan)
- The primary impact will be felt along the southern corridor of Jalan Letjen S. Parman, spanning from Semanggi to the Slipi Intersection. Should congestion reach critical levels, traffic personnel will implement real-time diversions at their discretion.
2. Zone 2 – Arterial Transit Corridors
In the event of heavy traffic volume, the following rerouting protocols will take effect:
- From Cawang: Motorists will be diverted via Jalan Jenderal Gatot Subroto, continuing through Jalan Jenderal Sudirman, Jalan Sisingamangaraja, Jalan Asia Afrika, and Jalan Patal Senayan toward subsequent destinations.
- From Tomang toward Cawang: Transit remains operational; however, preemptive tactical diversions are prepared should conditions deteriorate.
3. Zone 3 – Parliamentary Perimeter (DPR/MPR)
- This zone focuses on the southern corridor of Jalan Letjen S. Parman (Semanggi to Slipi). Traffic flow will be redirected as follows:
- Tomang to Cawang: Rerouted through Jalan Tomang Raya, Jalan Balikpapan, Jalan Suryopranoto, and Jalan Juanda.
- Cawang to Tomang: Directed via Jalan Jenderal Gatot Subroto, Jalan Jenderal Sudirman, Jalan Sisingamangaraja, Jalan Asia Afrika, and Jalan Patal Senayan.
- Blok M to Tomang: Commuters are urged to take Jalan Sisingamangaraja toward Jalan Patal Senayan, or utilize Jalan Jenderal Gatot Subroto heading toward Cawang.
4. Zone 3 – Presidential Palace District
- High-traffic thoroughfares including Jalan M.H. Thamrin, Jalan Jenderal Sudirman, and Jalan Medan Merdeka Barat are expected to see significant impacts. Contingency routes include:
- Tugu Tani to Tanah Abang: Diverted via Jalan M.I. Ridwan Rais, Jalan Medan Merdeka Timur, Jalan Veteran, and Jalan Cideng Timur.
- Tanah Abang to Pulogadung: Navigated through Jalan Abdul Muis, Jalan Majapahit, and Jalan Ir. H. Juanda.
- Senayan to Kota Tua: Rerouted via Jalan KH. Mas Mansyur, Jalan Cideng Barat, and Jalan Abdul Muis.
- Harmoni to Senayan: A specialized transit loop will be established through Jalan Ir. H. Juanda, Jalan Pos, Jalan Lapangan Banteng, Jalan Pejambon, and onward through Menteng and Rasuna Said areas.
To support these traffic management efforts, the agency has made 10 Strategic Monitoring Points at high-volume intersections, including:
- The Senayan/Bundaran Senayan Intersection, FX Sudirman, Fairmont Signalized Intersection, Patal Senayan, Gate 10, Mulia Hotel, Palmerah Intersection, Babah Alun Mosque, and Ladokgi flyover complex.
- Further, four rapid-response towing units will be prepositioned at Gate 10, the Ladokgi Flyover, Mulia Hotel, and FX Sudirman to swiftly clear any vehicular obstructions and ensure the continued fluidity of Jakarta’s transit network.
Personnel will maintain vigilant, real-time oversight of the evolving situation, ensuring seamless inter-agency collaboration with the police and other relevant stakeholders to uphold public order.
