At Kramat Jati Wholesale Market, Bank Jakarta has provided Rp48 billion in credit to 167 traders. He said there is still significant potential to expand financing in the area, given that the market is one of Jakarta's key trading centers, with more than 5,000 business premises.
Bank Jakarta offers financing schemes ranging from People's Business Credit (KUR) to non-KUR financing, with loan limits of up to Rp500 million.
"The products are designed to provide healthy and affordable formal financing alternatives while reducing businesses' reliance on high-cost informal financing," he said.
He added that Bank Jakarta is not only focused on extending more credit but also on encouraging traders to connect with the digital ecosystem and improve their financial management.
"Today, they may be micro-business customers. Tomorrow, they may grow into small businesses and eventually medium-sized businesses. Bank Jakarta must remain by their side as they grow," he highlighted.
