Floods in E. Jakarta is Due to Poor Infrastructure

East Jakarta Administration, already anticipating the weather anomalies that predict pretty extreme over three days ahead. However, infrastructure such as water channel is not yet fully ready.

Mayor of East Jakarta, Bambang Musyawardana disclosed, in terms of human handling during floods, the region is ready. This is because related unit is also ready, such as urban village head, sub-district head until Regional Disaster Mitigation Agency (BPBD).

Bambang assessed, flood is also due to human-caused greedy and careless. Even, the water absorption areas and riverbanks has become a dwelling.

"Automatically, the water will find the lower land, such as residential areas," he finished.
