Firefighters from the East Jakarta Fire and Rescue (Gulkarmat) Sub-agency successfully extinguished a fire on Jalan Kelurahan 5, RT 11/01, Duren Sawit Urban Village, Duren Sawit Sub-district.
No one was killed or injured in the incident
East Jakarta Fire and Rescue Sub-agency Operations Section Head Abdul Wahid said the fire broke out a a waste pile and a body repair workshop at around 2:20 AM.

Wahid explained that 15 fire trucks and 75 firefighters were deployed to tackle the blaze.
"The fire spread across an area of 5,000 square meters. Firefighting efforts, which began at 2:30 AM, were completed at 1:05 PM," he explained.
He said the fire was suspected to have started when a resident burned waste at the site, with the flames spreading and eventually destroying the stalls and workshop.
"No one was killed or injured in the incident," he noted.
Duren Sawit Urban Village Head Santi Nur Rifiandini added that the vacant lot had been used by its owner as a waste collection site.
She stressed that the urban village administration had previously asked the landowner to stop using the site for waste collection because it could pose a fire risk and cause environmental problems.
"We thank and appreciate the Fire and Rescue Sub-agency personnel for successfully extinguishing the fire," she said.
