The Blue Troops personnel of the Water Resources Implementation Unit of Kebayoran Baru District, South Jakarta, dredged a 400-meter water channel in RW 07, Rawa Barat Urban Village.

Coordinator of the Unit, Marno said dredging of water channels was carried out on Jalan Ciawi to Jalan Ciawi III which is the main access to Jalan Gunawarman.

Marno explained that dredging had begun on August 19, 2026, and was targeted for completion on September 11.
"Four personnel are deployed," he added.
According to him, the dredging process encountered some obstacles because access to the water channel was blocked. This made it difficult for personnel to remove the mud sediment and trash from the channel.
"Hopefully, during the rainy season, the environmental conditions here will be safe from flooding," he continued.
Meanwhile, Head of Rawa Barat, Merinta Hendri Purnomo appreciated the personnel for responding the problem.
"Residents are happy with the dredging of the water channel because this is what they have been waiting for a long time," he admitted.
