LRT Jakarta infrastructure is 100% complete, Governor Pramono Anung announced, setting his sights on a September 2026 launch for the Kelapa Gading–Manggarai line.
Everything is fully ready and in place
"I’m hoping for an inauguration this September. Everything is fully ready and in place—including signaling and track infrastructure," Pram expressed, at The Tavia Heritage, Central Jakarta, Friday (9/11).
Alongside rail readiness, the city is upgrading public zones below the tracks and integrating transit routes. All LRT stations are now linked to Transjakarta services.

Commutes between Kelapa Gading and Manggarai via the LRT will take just 28 minutes.
Further, he ordered an immediate start on the 2.1-kilometer line extension connecting Manggarai to Dukuh Atas, with Rp 600 billion in funds ready to go.
"Work on the extension to Dukuh Atas can kick off immediately since the budget is already allocated," Pramono noted.
