Jakarta Governor, Basuki T Purnama inaugurated the project of Light Rail Transit (LRT) Jakarta, Velodorome and Equestrian at Jakarta KNPI building, Jl Balap Sepeda, Rawamangun, East Jakarta, Wednesday (6/22).

LRT Will Use Standard RailOn the other hand, Director of PT Jakarta Propertindo, Satya Heragandhi disclosed, for Asian Games preparation, his party develops the LRT, Rawamangun Velodrome and renovates Equestrian.
Three projects are from City Budget (APBD). As the initial LRT construction, the fund is spending Rp 4.5 trillion. This is for priority route that will be built in Kelapa Gading-Veledrome-Rawamangun. Then Velodrome, will spend USD 40 million.
"The experienced contractor, ES Global is involved in this project. We will have a prettiest Velodrome in Asean and its construction will be monitored by Union Cycliste Internasionale (UCI)," he finished.
