"I happened to have received a video about Kalijodo. And actually, yesterday I had already asked the City Parks and Forestry Agency and Satpol PP to take action. This includes the Rp10,000 charge and several bottles of alcoholic drinks found at the site," Pramono said at the Jakarta PMI Building on Thursday (9/17).

He assured that cleaning and enforcement efforts at Kalijodo Park had been carried out since yesterday, and that the public facility was now clean again.

"If you check today, it should already be clean because I had asked for it to be cleaned since yesterday," he noted.

The Governor also called for a comprehensive renovation of Kalijodo Park, which was developed during the tenure of former Jakarta Governor Basuki Tjahaja Purnama, or Ahok.

"I have also asked for a comprehensive renovation of Kalijodo to be carried out immediately because I see Kalijodo as part of Pak Ahok's legacy, and I think it is very good to improve it again," he added.
