Jakarta Inspectorate Partners with KPK to Foster Early Anti-Corruption Culture

Joining forces with the KPK, the Jakarta Inspectorate continues to champion anti-corruption values from an early age.

The Integrity Safari brings anti-corruption education

Earlier this Sunday morning (9/20), they hosted the Integrity Safari at Ragunan Zoo (TMR) under the inspiring theme: "Honesty is an Adventure, Integrity is a Habit.

Over 200 students and residents joined in for a day of fun, educational games centered around anti-corruption awareness at Ragunan Zoo.

Jakarta Inspector Dhany Sukma highlighted that Ragunan Zoo holds a special milestone as one of the first government units in Indonesia to earn both the Corruption-Free Zone (WBK) and Clean and Serving Bureaucracy Zone (WBBM) titles.

"The Integrity Safari brings anti-corruption education directly to the community through interactive, fun, and hands-on experiences," he shared.

The activity aims to deepen students' and the public's understanding of core integrity values, highlight everyday honest habits, and shed light on how corruption harms public services.

"It's all about empowering people with the courage to ask questions, say no, speak up, and report wrongdoing—while encouraging everyone to make a personal commitment to integrity," he added.

He emphasized that anti-corruption education begins early by embedding strong core values in students—the leaders of tomorrow.

"It takes a shared commitment to turn integrity into a lasting culture, beginning with ourselves and making a ripple effect that reaches far and wide," he noted.

Public Participation and Empowerment Director for KPK, Kunto Ariawan, highlighted that tackling corruption goes far beyond law enforcement—it starts with early prevention by inspiring core integrity values in young minds, who will one day lead the country with trust and honor.

"The Integrity Safari is a fantastic, hands-on way to spread corruption prevention awareness," he closed.
