Construction of the access road connecting the boat dock to the Panggang Island Urban Village Office in North Seribu Islands is targeted for completion by the end of September 2026.

Panggang Island Urban Village Head Jamaluddin noted that 20 PPSU personnel have been working on the site daily since September 9, 2026.
“We're building this route to ensure smoother dock-to-office access for locals,” he expressed, Monday (9/21).

“We are constructing a 20-meter route that is 2.5 meters wide and elevated roughly 80 centimeters,” he added.
Jamaluddin noted that the project forms part of broader neighborhood infrastructure improvements across Panggang Island.
Besides boosting mobility, the route will smooth dockside activities and improve public access to administrative services.
“We expect work to finish by late September. Hope this pathway makes daily commutes much easier for locals,” he added.
The project received appreciation from the RW 03 Chair, Panggang Island Urban Village, Jarwanto.
Jarwanto urged timely completion of the project to ensure immediate public benefit.
“It will provide smoother, more convenient access for everyone traveling to the urban village office or moving through the dock area,” he emphasized.
