As reported earlier, Jakarta Governor, Joko 'Jokowi' Widodo was targeting all physical construction could be realized in March. But until now there has been a lot of physical work done due to delay in the ratification of Jakarta 2014 City Budget (APBD).

Jokowi acknowledged that the delay ratification of APBD has caused the physical development in Jakarta runs slow. The ratification itself was completed in March through Home Ministry. Thus, in April, Jakarta Provincial Government could prepare the needed administrations.

"Our problem is the delay ratification of APBD where it has been ratified in March. That's why the needed administration can be prepared this month," said Jokowi, after he gave direction to the Regional Working Unit (SKPD) at Jakarta City Hall, Friday (5/2).

Nevertheless, the SKPD is instructed to accelerate the physical development in the city. Moreover, the process of goods and service procurement already become a regular activity performed by SKPD. "Actually, the procurement of goods and services is the authority of SKPD. Due to limited time, we cannot do our duty optimally," he asserted.

According to Endang Widjajanti, Head of Jakarta Financial Management Body (BPKD), disclosed the budget absorption per May is only 8 percent. This is slower compared to the same period last year.

"We only absorb 0.06 percent. This process is slower than last year. So, we need more attention," she asserted.
