Toddlers in Kelapa Gading Receive Nutritional Support

A total of 72 toddlers in Kelapa Gading District, North Jakarta, were targeted by the Kelapa Gading Program to Address Stunting with Frozen Food (Gasing Frozen). This program prioritizes cross-sector collaboration, involving businesses, religious institutions, and healthcare workers.
Collaboration and shared concern
Head of Kelapa Gading District, DTM Rahmat Syahputra said Gasing Frozen is realized through the provision of food assistance to support the fulfillment of toddlers' nutritional needs while optimizing child growth and development.

He detailed that of the 72 toddlers, 35 were in Pegangsaan Dua Urban Village. Their care was provided through a collaboration between Kelapa Gading District and the Griya Kasih Indah Clinic.
"Nineteen toddlers in Kelapa Gading Timur Urban Village also received support through a partnership with the Flex Free Clinic. Eighteen toddlers in Kelapa Gading Barat Urban Village were also targeted in a collaboration with St. James Church," he added.
According to him, Gasing Frozen not only focuses on providing food aid, but also becomes a forum to strengthen concern and the spirit of mutual cooperation in supporting children's growth and development.
"Every assistance and collaboration provided is an important step for the growth and development of children and the future of the Kelapa Gading generation," he continued.
Meanwhile, Head of Kelapa Gading Barat Urban Village, Ahmad Surya Kusuma admitted Posyandu has consistently provided Supplementary Feeding (PMT) as part of efforts to support the reduction of stunting rates.
"The stunting rate continues to decline. We hope to see further declines this year through stronger collaboration," he admitted.
