Jakarta Legislative Council Commission E Member Farah Savira noted that world musicians reinforce Jakarta's status as an international concert hub, while high public interest offers untapped economic potential.
“We are proud and thrilled that Jakarta is trusted to host various domestic and international concerts," she expressed, Wednesday (9/30).

“What if we have venues slightly further out that also reach residents there and offer more space?," she stated.
She also urged concert organizers to give local MSMEs more tenant space through curation by the Tourism and Creative Economy Agency (Disparekraf) and the Industry, Trade, Cooperatives, Small and Medium Enterprises Agency (PPKUKM), including Jakpreneur-incubated businesses.
Additionally, tourism, hospitality, culinary, and creative sectors can be integrated via promo packages or discounts for ticket holders.
Farah also called for tighter security to ensure safe and orderly concerts.
“Crack down firmly on criminals at concerts and maintain strict security to keep things safe and orderly," she stated.
