The agreements cover healthcare, housing finance, education and employment, digital infrastructure, low-carbon energy, area development, and public transportation.

"Today, 15 cooperation agreements are being signed among BUMDs, between BUMDs and BUMNs, and between BUMDs and Jakarta government agencies," Pramono said.

The governor highlighted several key projects, including the development of transit-oriented development (TOD) properties around MRT and Transjakarta routes, valued at approximately Rp396 billion, and the construction of a pedestrian deck in Dukuh Atas worth Rp220 billion.

In the transportation sector, the agreements also cover a three-year program to electrify the Transjakarta bus fleet, valued at Rp5.07 trillion.

"Our target is to have an all-electric bus fleet by 2029. Going forward, Jakarta's public transportation will use only electric, hydrogen-powered, or hybrid buses," he noted.

The Jakarta Provincial Government is working to electrify Transjakarta's 3,782-bus fleet to help reduce air pollution. So far, 500 electric buses are in service.

"Once this is achieved, nearly 100 percent of our buses will be electric, hybrid, or hydrogen-powered. Hydrogen and hybrid buses will also be introduced soon," he added.

Head of the Jakarta Provincial Government's BUMD Development Agency Syaefuloh Hidayat said that, by the third quarter of 2026, a total of 52 strategic cooperation agreements worth Rp4.5 trillion had been established between BUMDs and BUMNs, among BUMDs, and with regional government agencies. These included 27 agreements between BUMDs and BUMNs worth Rp2.4 trillion and 25 agreements among BUMDs worth Rp2.1 trillion.

Syaefuloh added that the 15 agreements signed on Monday were aimed at improving public services and corporate performance.

"Today's agenda follows up on the governor's directive at the BUMD Leaders Forum some time ago, which called on all BUMDs to work together to improve services and company performance," he explained.

The 15 agreements signed on Monday cover five areas.

First, agreements between BUMDs and BUMNs worth Rp120 billion cover the use of telecommunications infrastructure, the provision of CCTV systems and data centers, and studies on renewable energy and the hydrogen ecosystem.

Second, agreements between BUMDs and regional government agencies worth Rp909 billion cover food supply chains, the management of medical and non-medical waste and sanitation, access to housing finance for workers in the informal sector, and the provision of training and internships for vocational high school students.

Third, agreements among BUMDs worth Rp41 billion cover digital infrastructure, project financing and guarantee facilities, construction cooperation, and waste management at markets, on the MRT system, and in the Kawasan Berikat Nusantara industrial zone.

Fourth, PT Transportasi Jakarta signed a memorandum of understanding with Bank Jakarta and Jamkrida on financing facilities for the Transjakarta fleet electrification program, valued at approximately Rp5.07 trillion.

Fifth, Bank Jakarta and PT MRT Jakarta signed a financing agreement worth Rp220 billion for the construction of the pedestrian deck.
