Scholarship Provided for 3,167 SD and SMA Students

The Social Employment Security Management Agency (BPJSK) gave scholarship to 3,167 elementary and senior high school students during National Education Day commemoration at South Jakarta Mayor Office , Friday (5/2).

Such scholarship is worth Rp 7.6 billion

South BPJSK Setia Budi, Gatot Subroto Branch Chairman, Nur Effendi, said that scholarship is a form of South Jakarta Administration's concern in order to improve the welfare of the family as well as to lighten the students' burden.

"Such scholarship is worth Rp 7.6 billion," he expressed.

Thousands of Students Chase Bazis Scholarship

Head of South Jakarta Secondary Education Sub-Department, Suharyanto added that a proper school building is an important factor to support education students for achievement. Hence, the South Jakarta Education Sub-Department cooperates with Jakarta Education Department in creating a proper school building.

"At Education Department level, the project for physical construction of school building has been made. South Jakarta Education Sub-Department just gives facilities. Hopefully, in 2015, there will be no unworthy schools in Jakarta, especially South Jakarta," he exclaimed.
