In addition to the arrangement of traders involving 400 joint personnel, Firmanuddin continued, improvements are also focused on water channels, roads, and other supporting systems around the area.
"This effort is made to optimize the function of Setu Babakan as an important asset that not only needs to be managed, but also utilized sustainably," he added.
Meanwhile, Head Unit of Setu Babakan Betawi Village Management, Debby Novita Andriani stated the arrangement of tourist areas and the implementation of physical activities will continue to be carried out in stages every year through planning and budgeting in the Regional Revenue and Expenditure Budget (APBD).
The future development of Setu Babakan will maintain the naturalization concept. The area will continue to be developed as a tourism destination and a center for Betawi cultural education, in accordance with the Jakarta Provincial Government's directives.
"Up to now, there has been no official set entry fee for Setu Babakan. The potential for a fee increase after the area's development is complete requires further study," she stated.
