Eid Bus Readiness in Kampung Rambutan Terminal Checked

Minister of Transportation, Ignasius Jonan is observing the readiness of Kampung Rambutan Terminal, East Jakarta ahead of homecoming session, Friday (6/24).

According to agreement, prior to June 24, all fleets must be in good condition

Jonan who accompanied by several officials under Ministry of Transportation and Head of Jakarta Transportation Dept, Andri Yansyah, are directly checking some fleets and health posts.

One of the buses that checked is from otobus company, Medal Sekarwangi with license plate Z 750 AA. The bus's seat belt plying Jakarta-Sumedang via Cipularang Toll is known broken.

"The bus cannot operate before reparation," he stated.

"According to agreement, prior to June 24, all fleets must be in good condition. The bad one cannot be operated and must be repaired first," he stressed.

On the other hand, Head of Kampung Rambutan AKAP Terminal, Emerald August disclosed, since June 6-23, there were many fleets failed the ramp check. As a matter of fact, his side had socialized it before.

"From June 6-23, there are 248 buses checked. But only 23 buses are passed and 225 others are failed," he finished.
