Odd-even Supervision is Easier Basuki Says

Jakarta Governor, Basuki T Purnama said, supervision of odd-even system is easier. This is because, it is supported by closed-circuit television (CCTV) camera and also imposed on evacuation track in busway.

Basuki disclosed, such system is imposed on 3 in 1 track that has been deleted. Its operational time is the same. "The system is not different with 3 in 1," he told.

Odd-Even Socialization Held in A Month

Its implementation begins from socialization phase that will be held on June 28-Juy 26 and trial on July 27-August 26. As for the legal enforcement, will be imposed on August 30.

Such system is imposed every Monday until Friday at 7-10 AM and 4-8 PM, except every weekend and national holiday.

Vehicles with odd license plate must operate on odd dates and vice versa. Then for odd-even determination is at the last digit number of license plate and a zero is considered even.
