Religious Tourism will Be Developed in Seribu Islands

Regent of Seribu Islands, Budi Utomo appreciates tour closing in Harapan Island during Ramadhan. In future, religious tourism will be developed in Seribu Islands.

"Tour closing during Ramadhan can be maintained. Supposedly, in future, it can be used as religious tour or packaged as Ramadhan tour through pesantren kilat (Islam study class) and so on. Thus it could be a new icon of Harapan Island, Religi Island," he disclosed, while giving his speech at Al Hidayah Mosque, Harapan Island, Tuesday (6/28).

Luar Batang Mosque will Be the Icon of Religious Tourism

Regarding aid from the government, he hoped, it could stimulate citizens do not forget to charity, because it can clean possessions and gained sustenance.

"Do not be stingy for charity because it can double our sustenance. That's why we give an example to them in order to be diligent in charity, including helping build mosques and the poor," he added.

Formerly, his party once again held Safari Ramadhan on Monday (6/27) in two places. It is also to give aid amounting to Rp 50 million for development of Al Fallah Mosque, Kelapa Island and operational fund for Al Hidayah Mosque, Harapan Island.
