Budget Cutting Does Not Influence Tourist Visit

Budget to promote capital tourism for Jakarta Dept. of Tourism and Culture has been cut. Jakarta Vice Governor, Djarot Saiful Hidayat ensures the cutting does not involve tourist visit.

Djarot explained the agency often promotes the capital tourism abroad by using brochures. It needs huge budget. He appraised such socialization is not on target since digital era in Indonesia is accelerating well.

Religious Tourism will Be Developed in Seribu Islands

Djarot hopes the agency will be able to arrange budget well and on target. The budget can be used to dig local culture also.

“The agency must dig local cultures in the middle of digital era,” he added.
